ABOUT
Damla Ayzeren is a multidisciplinary visual designer, story teller and illustrator living in Istanbul.
Her artwork and practice take many forms from award winning product design, illustration and glass art to writing and making picture books.
She has a diverse education background focused on art, design and film making, which in time, has equipped her with broad vision and multidisciplinary approach to all her work & art projects.
MAKING CHILDREN'S BOOKS
She wrote and illustrated her first children's book series "The Adventures of Cherry" in 2011, which was originally published in Turkish by Kok Publishing. The books of the series are included in the EBA online learning platform of the Ministry of Education in Turkey.
In 2012, she designed and developed the American Design Awards winner interactive e-book app version of "Cherry at the Stars", which was published on the App Store. She also designed and developed several other award winner interactive e-books and educational apps for kids.
